2025 Wranglers

Wranglers are involved in all areas of care for the TEXAS herd. Applicants must be comfortable catching horses in a herd situation, tacking and untacking horses, handling horses that have become excited, and assisting our actors with mounting/dismounting throughout the show. Riders must also be capable of running horses at top speed with a flag, riding advanced trails, mounting and dismounting quickly, comfortable with neck reining, and able to take direction while riding. This will be a situation where constructive criticism will be a daily occurrence to ensure the safety of both horses and riders. Wranglers will feed, water, groom, clean pens, and maintain tack in addition to riding for the show, as well as other duties as assigned.
